Q: What is a personal injury case anywaya/
A: A personal injury case is any type of claim where a person has been injured or killed due to someone else's carelessness. Lawyers call this carelessness "negligence". A personal injury case can include physical injuries received in an auto accident, a construction worker who falls and gets injured on the job, or injuries that people receive from a dangerous or defective product. Other common types of personal injury cases are slip and fall cases and dog bite cases. Note that the injury must be an injury to your body- getting your car wrecked in an accident in which you did not get hurt is a property damage case. Some lawyers handle property damage cases, some do not (we don't).
